Short, themed, and built for the holidays. Two sessions this year — one warm, one wonderfully weird.
Mini sessions exist for the moments that pass too fast to plan a full shoot around. Holiday cards, kids who've grown another inch, traditions worth photographing. Pick a slot, show up, leave with images you'll actually use.
The annual tradition. We've hand crafted a hot cocoa stand with all the holiday decorations to give your family a cute little Christmas card. Each year, we set up at Dogwood Park, just behind the library on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. No appointment necessary, first come first serve. Sessions last about five to ten minutes. Kids get cocoa, parents get a holiday photo, everyone goes home before they freeze.
"The Hot Cocoa mini sessions were so easy on parents and fun for kids. The setting was perfect for the holidays and photos were delivered quickly." — Holly
Picture a Sears Photo Studio in the 80s. Picture it going gloriously wrong — the matching turtlenecks, the painted backdrop, the pose nobody asked for, the smile your uncle definitely overcommitted to. Now picture you, on purpose.
It started with a co-worker whose only parting request was a photo of our friend group. We took the assignment too seriously — and somewhere between picking outfits and choosing a backdrop, it became an Awkward Family Photo. So we're making it a thing.
Bring your spouse, your roommates, your D&D party, your golden retriever — whoever counts as "family" this year. We'll handle the styling absurdity. You'll handle committing to the bit.
Pricing & dates — coming soon. Get on the list and we'll share details first.
10 out of 10 — recommend for any photo needs. We'll definitely be calling Shawn the next time we need a photographer.
Tell me which mini you're after — Hot Cocoa, Awkward Family, or both — and how many you'll bring along.
